Camp Grandma-Day 1

Well we are day 1 into our Summer Vacation. We drove up to Chris' grandparents place Friday night. WE got here about midnight. Got the boys tucked into bed and woke up to a beautiful morning on the lake. We had a busy busy day:
-packing for BWCA,
-taking a trial run in the canoe with Andy and molly the dog (both are going into BWCA for the first time)
-fishing off the end of the dock (they caught a small rock bass, and threw it out so Andy could reel it in, a HUGE northern came up and grabbed it. We almost had the northern too, but instead he bit the line and got away)
-took out the pontoon boat, Andy did some swimming in the middle of the lake, then kneeboarding! What a pro he had no problem, I think fell once.
-jumping off the dock (last year it took so much convincing to get him to jump off the end of the dock, always needed someone else to catch or hold his hand). Not this year, no life jacket, run and jump. AND FLIP off the end. I got it on video, he ran down the dock, boing flip butt into the water. I guess 1x he landed on his back a bit, didn't stop him.
-then before dinner he and chris spent time warming up in the sauna, then runnning red hot down and jumping into the lake. They must have done that 5x.
Into BWCA today.
